Individual Justice Planning is a tool that can assist individuals with disabilities in navigating the criminal and juvenile justice systems. An Individual Justice Plan or IJP identifies the individual’s disability and the supports or services needed to prevent justice involvement, while still holding the individual accountable by using the most effective consequences for that individual.
