Economic Stimulus Payments
There are several websites that can assist you in determining if you are eligible for an Economic Stimulus Payment from the Internal Revenue Service. While April 15th was the tax filing deadline, you may still be eligible for a payment if: 1) you have obtained a valid six-month extension to file, or 2) if you are filing to establish your eligibility for the stimulus payment. Filing by October 15th means the IRS can process your return and issue a stimulus payment before the end of the year.
